It asks whether youth who are provided with health education and media literacy training can be empowered to create health messages that are accessible to their peers.

Coding is sometimes seen as a first in-road to developing digital literacy. Integrating a critical component will help students to bring their knowledge of programming into their other interactions with digital systems even when they are performing the role of passive user. The remainder of this essay offers two methods for enacting the approach.
